Coconut Ice Cream Recipe
Is there anything I could use to freeze ice cream besides an acutal ice Cream Machine?
I have a recipe for Coconut Ice Cream:
1 cup milk
1 (14 ounce) can cream of coconut
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 1/2 cups sweetened flaked coconut (optional)
Directions
1.Combine the milk and cream of coconut in the container of a food processor or blender, and mix thoroughly. Stir in cream and flaked coconut.
2.Pour into the container of an Ice Cream Maker, and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
I don’t have an Ice Cream Machine, so I just wanted to know if there was any other way to make it. Thanks!
You can use two containers with lids.. one that fits inside the other with room for ice. pour your ingredients in the smaller container.. then put inside the larger container.. add ice and salt and roll it/shake it gently. If you have kids.. they will have fun rolling the container back and forth or shaking it! Otherwise… you can just put it in the freezer.. though it wont be as creamy.
