Maple Walnut Ice Cream Recipe
Hard to find carrot cake recipe…and it shouldn’t be!?
I am looking for a carrot cake recipe that includes raisins, carrots, walnuts AND a cream cheese icing to go with it. I’m finding all kinds of other interesting carrot cake recipes…one with maple cream cheese icing, one with pinneaple in it…but its not what I want. Can you help?
I know this isn’t exactly what you are looking for but Duncan Hines has a carrot cake mix; if you turn over the box to the side it has an old fashioned carrot cake recipe on the side. It has raisins walnuts & pineapples in it. It really makes an excellent cake. i just use regular homeade cream cheese icing. I thought the pineapples sounded weird until I tried it. It’s now one of my most requested cakes and I sure don’t tell anyone it started with a mix!
